Poured concrete is fast and inexpensive up front, but it's one solid slab. When Florida's sandy soil shifts or a tree root pushes up, concrete cracks, and the repair rarely matches the original.
Pavers sit on a compacted base and sand bed, held in place by edge restraints. They flex slightly with the ground instead of cracking, and if one section settles, we can lift those pavers, fix the base, and put the same pavers back.
Pavers also give you more design control: colors, patterns, borders, and travertine options that match a pool deck. And because they're set individually, they're easy to join cleanly to artificial turf, or to lay as stepping stones inside a turf lawn.
For walkways that tie a yard together, especially next to turf or a putting green, pavers are usually worth it. We'll show you samples at the site visit and price both options if you want to compare.
